Our Mission
Nourish the Children exists not just to provide hope, love, and resources to malnourished children, but to end childhood hunger. It takes the power of many to end childhood hunger; donors who believe in the cause, organizations to pool their resources and expertise, and communities to work together for real change. Together, we will stand strong and make sure that every child is fed and knows they are loved and valued.
Our Impact
In the last 7 years, we have fed close to 100,000 hungry and malnourished children and this is only the beginning. Since officially establishing in 2018, Nourish the Children has developed 3 programs all aimed at ending childhood hunger and malnourishment. Two of those programs will be rolling out this year, one in Houston, TX and another in the Philippines.

Our Programs
READING AND FEEDING
Our “Reading and Feeding” program puts an emphasis on providing a meal while teaching basic educational skills to children who cannot afford to attend school. At the same time, we provide support and education to the parents for at-home use.

FOOD TRUCK PROGRAM
Our food truck program “On the Move Against Hunger” brings the food to the kids; in cities, towns, villages and extremely remote areas, feeding the kid’s who would otherwise go without a meal.

KIDS’ TABLE
“Kids’ Table” makes it possible for us to reach children in our local area of Houston, Texas. For families that meet the eligibility requirements of food insecurity, and have a child of 5 years or younger, we are here to help you feed your children.

Get Involved

Volunteer opportunities
It takes the hands of volunteers to prepare and pack grocery boxes for our Kids’ Table program. It takes volunteer phone calls and networking to find the best food we can for the hungry children we feed, locally and globally. It takes event and fundraising planning to continue to spread the word and fund the fight to end childhood hunger. It takes a village.
